Teton and Sublette counties, listed as Jackson / Pinedale, carry Wyoming's top per diem for FY2027: $441 a night in June, July, August and September 2027 and $215 from October to May, with $92 of M&IE, the highest federal meals tier. Park County, the Cody area, follows the same June to September calendar at $213 and $128, with $74 of M&IE. Every other county pays the standard $113 and $68, including Cheyenne, Casper, Gillette and Laramie. Counted with the FY2027 table, four nights in Jackson from July 12 to July 16, 2027 total $2,178 at the federal maximum, against $1,274 for four nights in January 2027 and $758 for the July dates in Cheyenne. The arrival and departure days carry 75% of the M&IE, and lodging taxes are paid on top.

Jackson: $441 for four months, $215 for eight

The Jackson and Pinedale area multiplies its room cap by 2.1 on June 1. From June, July, August and September the ceiling is $441, $21 more than in FY2026; from October to May it is $215, up $3. Even that winter figure is $102 above the standard. A stay that straddles May and June mixes the two levels, and the calculator prices each night at its own month. In the high months, a single night's cap here is 3.9 times the standard $113.

The Jackson season runs through September, the last month of the federal fiscal year, so the drop to the winter figure coincides with the switch to a new GSA table. A trip from September 28 to October 2, 2026 saw both at once: $420, $420, $420 and $215 for its four nights, $1,889 in all with M&IE.

Cody: same months, smaller jump, lower meals tier

Park County uses the same June, July, August and September window, at $213, a rise of $23 from FY2026, the largest increase in either area. Its other months pay $128, barely changed. The M&IE is $74: $18 for breakfast, $20 for lunch and $31 for dinner, against $23, $26 and $38 in Teton County. The same four July nights cost $1,185 in Cody, $993 less than in Jackson.

Every large Wyoming city takes the standard rate

None of the Wyoming places with 15,000 people or more in the Census file lies inside a listed county. Cheyenne (Laramie County), Casper (Natrona), Gillette (Campbell), Laramie (Albany), Rock Springs (Sweetwater) and Sheridan all take $113 for lodging and $68 for meals in every month of FY2027, $3 more lodging than the FY2026 standard. For those trips the per diem question is settled; the mileage is what varies. EIA prices Wyoming in its Rocky Mountain series, $4.417 a gallon of regular and $6.267 of diesel in the week of October 5, 2026, and the IRS mileage rate of 76 cents applies to the whole drive.
