Pennsylvania per diem for FY2027 lists 12 GSA areas, one fewer than the 13 of FY2026, because the Allentown, Easton and Bethlehem line was removed. Lehigh and Northampton counties now take the standard $113 of lodging and $68 of M&IE, against $115 and $74 last year. Philadelphia sits on the top $92 meal tier, with lodging from $174 in July and August to $227 in September, October and November. Hershey peaks at $207 in June, July and August, Pittsburgh is $144 all year. Three nights in Philadelphia from October 12 to 15, 2026 are worth $1,003.00 at the federal maximum, and $844.00 from July 12 to 15, 2027, when the city's cap is at its lowest. These rates run to September 30, 2027. The calculator above starts on Philadelphia; type a Pennsylvania town or ZIP code to switch.
The Lehigh Valley back on the standard rate
The FY2027 GSA file has 12 Pennsylvania lines where FY2026 had 13. The one that disappeared is Allentown / Easton / Bethlehem, which covered Lehigh and Northampton counties at $115 a night and $74 of M&IE. Since October 1, 2026, Allentown, Bethlehem and Easton are paid like any unlisted county: $113 and $68. The standard lodging rose by $3 at the same time, which did not make up for the loss: the room cap dropped by $2 and the daily meal allowance by $6.
In money, a three-night trip to Allentown from November 3 to 6, 2025 was worth $604.00 at the federal maximum. The same three nights from November 2 to 5, 2026 are worth $577.00, $27.00 less, most of it on meals. A company that kept a travel budget based on last year's Allentown figure should update it; one that books through a tool with a cached rate table should check that the tool knows.
Hershey carved out of Dauphin County
Two Pennsylvania lines share one county. GSA lists Hershey as its own area and defines Harrisburg as "Dauphin County excluding Hershey". The result is a $22 gap in the off months and $78 in June, July and August, plus a meal tier of $80 in Hershey against $74 in Harrisburg. Use the address, not the county, for anything near the boundary.

Philadelphia's summer is its cheap season
The city's FY2027 cap reaches $227 in September, October and November, holds $185 from December to June, and is lowest, $174, in July and August. Both ends rose from FY2026 ($156 to $218). Chester County, listed as Malvern, Frazer and Berwyn, had the largest increase among the state's flat-rate lines, from $118 to $132. Gettysburg went the other way in shape: two values last year, a single $120 now, on the base $68 tier.
Erie, Scranton, York and Wilkes-Barre were not listed in either year and stay at the standard rate. Gasoline in Pennsylvania is priced on the EIA Central Atlantic (PADD 1B) series, $4.363 a gallon in the week of October 5, 2026; the IRS mileage rate page explains the 76 cents that applies to the drive.
